We of Refugio gatherings in Brooklyn, NYC stand in loving solidarity with you, the workers and rightful owners of the hotel, you our sisters and brothers of the Bauen Cooperative Hotel. We are activists, educators, students, community organizers, youth workers, and many others from groups striving for more horizontal and autonomous structures, lighting fires here in the heart of the empire. The struggle for maintaining Hotel Bauen as a cooperative run by the workers is important to many of us and others struggling around the globe.

In the next week, we will do our best to put pressure on the city government of Buenos Aires to recognize your ownership. In the many weeks, months, and years to follow, we will be with you and your cooperative and in solidarity with the National Movement of Recovered Factories.
